Price of Yacht Charter

The price of the Yacht charter shall include:

• All yacht standard equipment
• Dinghy and outboard engine
• Yacht Insurance
• VAT
• Generator, A/C, Solar panel, Water maker
• Dishwasher, TV
• Full cover Hardtop/Bimini
• Gas bottle, Nespresso machine
• Beach towels
• Base port fees for first and last night

Obligatory Extras*

Service pack / Full departure pack includes: 1 cooking gas bottle, fresh water, 5lt outboard fuel, linen equipment, end-cleaning, beach towels etc.

One Way Fees

• Lavrion – Alimos: €250

Payment Policy

• Initial Deposit: 50% of total charter rate upon booking confirmation
• Balance Payment: 50% paid 30 days prior to embarkation

Security Deposit (Refundable)

A refundable security deposit (€4,500 / €9,000 depending on yacht type) is required prior to embarkation via Visa or MasterCard. It is held against insurance excess and used in case of damage/loss.

For charters with company skipper, there is a damage waiver option: €2,000 total – €1,500 refundable if no damage, €500 non-refundable.

Important: The customer is liable for any damages incurred during the charter.

Insurance

Vessels are fully insured as per Insurance Policy for:

• Third party and passenger civil liability
• Damage liability to third party and passenger’s yacht
• Sea pollution liability

Cancellation Policy

• 90+ days before embarkation: Full refund minus €200 cancellation fee
• 61–90 days before: 30% of total charter amount
• 31–60 days before: 50% of total charter amount
• 30 days or less: 100% of total charter amount

If the yacht is re-booked for the same period and price, all payments will be refunded except the €200 cancellation fee.

Embarkation / Disembarkation

1. Charters usually start on Saturday at 17:00 and end the following Saturday at 08:00 (return to marina by Friday 17:00).
2. Upon booking confirmation, Charter Contract and Invoice are issued.
3. For bareboat charters, a valid sailing license must be submitted with the booking.
4. Refundable guarantee deposit is payable via credit card upon embarkation.
5. Claims accepted only within 10 days of charter end, provided the base is informed during the charter.
6. Transfers, provisions, hotel stays, Wi-Fi, car rentals, etc., can be arranged in advance. Paid in cash or via card (1–3% surcharge may apply).

Sailing License Requirement

• Original sailing license required for bareboat charters
• 2nd person must declare basic sailing knowledge
• License must be in English or officially translated
• Minimum 8 years of sailing experience required
• Day Skipper License is not accepted by Greek authorities
• Skipper must keep onboard all legal documents and crew list

Redelivery

The Charterer must return the yacht at the specified release port, free of debt or damage, in the same clean condition as delivered (excluding normal wear and tear). Extra care must be taken to avoid scratches or damage from luggage. Equipment must also be returned in good condition.

Restricted Use

• Use of the yacht is restricted to private, pleasure purposes only
• No transportation of goods or passengers for hire
• Compliance with all applicable Greek and international laws is required
• Use is limited to the defined “cruising area” as per base information
• Rafting to another vessel at anchor is prohibited
• Night sailing is not permitted (30 min before sunset to 30 min after sunrise)
• Organized or improvised races are prohibited

Policy of Free of Charge Equipment Usage / Max Use

• A/C: Unlimited use
• Generator: Max 9.5 hours/day (not during sailing)
• Water maker: Not to be used while sailing
• Luxury Pack (towable toys/slide): Max 70 minutes/day

Pet Policy

Small-sized pets are welcome onboard. A valid vaccination booklet stamped by a certified veterinarian is required. Pets must be supervised at all times to avoid damage to the yacht. Written notice and approval from the owner is required prior to embarkation.
