What to Know Before Renting a Yacht

  1. Required Documents
  • A valid passport or ID is required for all passengers.
  • If you’re booking a bareboat charter, a valid skipper’s license is required.
  • For crewed charters, no license is needed—just sit back and enjoy!
  1. Packing Essentials
  • Soft bags only (hard suitcases are difficult to store and may cause damage).
  • Sun protection: sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and UV-protective clothing.
  • A light waterproof jacket, as the sea breeze can be cool in the evenings.
  1. Food & Drinks
  • You can bring your own provisions, or we can arranges provisioning services upon request.
  • Our catamarans have fully equipped kitchens, please advise us if you need anything.
  • Fresh water is limited on board—use it wisely.
  1. Weather & Safety
  • Always check the weather forecast before departure.
  • Life jackets and all mandatory safety equipment are provided.
  • Our crew will give a safety briefing before departure.
  1. Onboard Rules & Etiquette
  • No shoes inside the yachts—most boats have a barefoot policy.
  • Smoking is not allowed inside cabins; check with the crew for designated areas.
  • Respect marine life—no littering or throwing anything overboard.
  • Sound carries over water—please be mindful of noise levels, especially at night.
  1. Fuel & Extra Costs
  • Most of the charters require refueling before returning.
  • Marina and mooring fees may apply depending on your itinerary.
  • Additional services like water toys, Wi-Fi, and crew gratuities may come at extra cost.
