What to Know Before Renting a Yacht
- Required Documents
- A valid passport or ID is required for all passengers.
- If you’re booking a bareboat charter, a valid skipper’s license is required.
- For crewed charters, no license is needed—just sit back and enjoy!
- Packing Essentials
- Soft bags only (hard suitcases are difficult to store and may cause damage).
- Sun protection: sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and UV-protective clothing.
- A light waterproof jacket, as the sea breeze can be cool in the evenings.
- Food & Drinks
- You can bring your own provisions, or we can arranges provisioning services upon request.
- Our catamarans have fully equipped kitchens, please advise us if you need anything.
- Fresh water is limited on board—use it wisely.
- Weather & Safety
- Always check the weather forecast before departure.
- Life jackets and all mandatory safety equipment are provided.
- Our crew will give a safety briefing before departure.
- Onboard Rules & Etiquette
- No shoes inside the yachts—most boats have a barefoot policy.
- Smoking is not allowed inside cabins; check with the crew for designated areas.
- Respect marine life—no littering or throwing anything overboard.
- Sound carries over water—please be mindful of noise levels, especially at night.
- Fuel & Extra Costs
- Most of the charters require refueling before returning.
- Marina and mooring fees may apply depending on your itinerary.
- Additional services like water toys, Wi-Fi, and crew gratuities may come at extra cost.
